BEDVIA COOKIES

Cookie Notice

This notice describes BEDVIA's current general use of cookies and similar technologies. In the V1 trial environment, use is focused on necessary and functional technologies for accounts, sessions, security, and language preference.

Public pre-launch baseline — last updated 15 September 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files or technical values that help a site remember session state or preferences or perform security functions. Similar technologies may also be used by the browser or authentication layer.

2. What we currently use

  • Necessary authentication and session technologies that support secure sign-in and session continuity.
  • Operational and security controls that help protect sessions and prevent unauthorized use.
  • A functional language-preference cookie; BEDVIA currently uses bedvia-locale to remember Arabic or English for up to one year unless the user removes it or changes the preference.
  • Hosting or protection services may set strictly necessary technologies for security or operational purposes according to the service configuration.

3. Analytics and advertising

BEDVIA does not currently enable behavioural advertising or marketing cookies as part of V1. If non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are introduced later, this notice will be updated and any consent or choice mechanism required by law will be applied before those technologies are loaded where applicable.

4. Managing cookies

Users can manage cookies through browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, session continuity, or security functions. Language preference can be changed through the BEDVIA interface.

5. Changes

This notice and the technology register will be updated if cookies change, a new provider is added, or a purpose or retention period changes. Non-essential technology will not be treated as automatically permitted merely because it has been added technically.
